Hello all,
Here I am after a while, I am crossing the next lesson in Bending. It took me a long time after lesson 5 when I managed to hit the note. It was tempting to ask for gracious forgiveness to move on without giving it much effort of my own. However, when I eventually practiced the exercises in Step 6, I gained the insight that I was merely lucky, and luck I got, to even got to another sound than the draws.
Then I realized the breath required is not the same as the lucky hit. Mind you, the lucky hit was a breakthrough I must have, without which I will be stuck. And I also realized the merits of holding the bends longer in order to play songs like Udo. My advice to myself is: Do not skip any of Mitch’s steps, he put them there in a good order for a good reason.
Then, because I barely got to these bending exercises, I have to record them separately. I figured it may be slightly better, at least, if I can learn to group them into a Playlist for each exercise. I will add other ones when I know it works.
So here it is the playlist for Step 6 Exercise 2
