I recently had a shoulder replacement, and I’m using the opportunity to learn to play the harmonica. It’s my left hand, and I am right handed any suggestions on how to hold the harmonica?.

    Hi Rusty,

I hope the photo uploads correctly.

When playing single handed, I rest my thumb on the right upper side of the harp. The middle finger is holding the bottom of the harp. Index finger stabilizes front plate, while ring finger stabilizes beck plate. Little finger has nothing to do 😎

    Keep on harping

    Thanks. Still harping!
