Two questions and let me know if I should be asking these somewhere else.
When should I move on from the first lesson? I’ve been working on single notes for 10 minutes each day and can play them pretty consistently. I can play the train at about 65 bpm so I’m still working on speeding that up slowly.

Secondly, should I be tonguing or saying something like da or ta when I play single notes?

    Thanks for any input.

You’re patient! Well, Mitch said if you can play the single note consistently you can move to lesson 2, he thought it might take us 2 weeks, but that’s not a rule. The train is something we’re going to do all the way through.

Cool. Thanks Mathilde. I watched the second one today to see if it’s something I can handle yet and it seems doable. I’ll keep the train in the mix as per your suggestion.

Yes, the way I read it Mitch was saying to keep practising the train as you go through the course. Getting faster as you go. My train is going pretty slow at the moment but I can feel the benefits in my lungs after doing it for a few weeks now.
