Heart of Gold – by Neil Young

My friend sent me this video of a live performance by Neil Young. I prefer to follow Neil on this video rather than using a backing track. Hope it is OK for me to accompany his singing.

I was going to let him play the solos as the recording was live and Neil had a lot of decorative notes, which I do not have the tabs to use. Finally, I listened and got the notes the best I can.

Bear with me and for the Heart of Gold and Keep Searching. Happy New Year to all of you!

Hi CC! Happy new year, this is a great way to practice, playing along with your favorite music.

You’ll find you get better each time, and it’s fun! :)

I think you did great on finding the notes Neil play by ear. That is also excellent practice.

Keep it up!

Ya this sounds great CC. This is one of my favorite things to do… to play along with songs. This is how I learned to play before I even realized you could take actual lessons for harmonica!
