After 2 days of using my new harmonica, the aspired note on the n°6 doesn’t work any more.
Is there a way to fix that problem ?
Yvan, this is a common thing. Unless the harmonica is a very cheap one, it is most likely a piece of dust or something that is stopping the reed from moving. The first thing to try is a nice hard slap on a soft surface like the palm of your hand. If that does not budge it after a few trys, then you may need to open the harmonica up and isolate that reed, and what we call “plink” it a few times, or slide a piece of paper in between the reed and the reedplate to loosen whatever is stuck in there. There’s a couple of videos in the toolshed on opening up your harmonica. You just need to be very careful not to touch the reeds you are not working on.
