    Hi there everyone

Ultra new to all this and working on my pucker technique and single hole stuff but I’m having trouble on the 7 hole.

Sometimes I get good sound come through but it feels like this hole (and those above it) need a LOT more effort to get sound

Any idea what could make it a bit easier for me?

    Thank you

I think I found my solution

I se to have more success with the Laughing Clwn technique.

The harp responds more to me if I’ve angled it slightly to my pucker

    Welcome Rick!
So I was waiting to see if someone else who had a good technical understanding of why that happens and could properly articulate it would answer… because I am also curious. But for now I will say that it happens on my harmonica as well, especially on my newer harp, so you are not alone. I find that the more I play the upper register of the harmonica the easier it gets to play those notes but ya they seem to always take a little more effort at least at first.
Hope that helps and good luck!
