送别 Farewell

I want to share something interesting with you. It is about the 2 songs used at the Beijing Winter Olympics Games. The song at the Opening Ceremony is Imagine and one of the songs at the Closing Ceremony is Farewell.

Incidentally, the first song I recorded on July 31st for harmonica is IMAGINE and my latest one, which I recorded on Feb. 15th is FAREWELL, done without a backing track was for my friend, Fok who recently pass away.

I used Farewell, which has extremely nice lyrics for saying goodbye to a friend. I may re-record Farewell when I found a backing track.

Here they are,

I love how much you are sharing on here CC… it makes it easy to see how much you are progressing. You can hear so much more confidence in your playing with each song you post. Your notes are sounding clearer and just more on point. Where are you getting the arrangements for the songs? That was a really nice version of imagine.
And I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your friend. What a beautiful tribute that you played for her… very heartfelt. Thanks for sharing this CC.

Your single notes are much more clear. Sorry for your loss, CC. All the best.
